Maintain District 6 structure and determine the feasibility of suggested amendments for the DCM
Provide information about AA to those who have contact with alcoholics through profession ie: physicians, nurses, clergy, lawyers, social workers, union leaders, and industrial managers. Let them know where we are and what we can and cannot do.
Coordinate the flow of information and activities pertaining to carrying the message of recovery to Alcoholics in Correctional Facilities. Encourage groups and individual AAs' to participate.
Keep the Distract Groups, individual AA members, and the general public informed about AA programs.
Coordinate the flow of information and activities pertaining to the carrying the message of recovery to alcoholics in hospitals, alcoholism treatment, and rehabilitation centers. Motivate and encourage groups and AAs' to carry the message to these facilities.
Plan, coordinate, and conduct special events in an effective manner in accordance with AA Traditions and Guidelines.
Set policies and guidelines for the content of the District 6 website and any future District use of electronic communications technologies, ensuring the traditions and concepts are followed.
Collect for preservation the experience, history, and memorabilia of District 6, Area 4 Arkansas in as undistorted manner as possible. Encourage and assist groups and AAs' to get involved in fulfilling this purpose.
